Super dooper boots I picked up at Liberty, my all time favourite department store ! The top part can be taken off to make it an ankle boot as well! Very handy... I am appreciating the extra layer of leather as this week in London has been SO UNBEARABLY COLD! It did snow over the weekend though so that made up for the frost bite. Everyday I spend in London I fall more and more in love with this place!

This photo is about 2 years old... older actually. We were in our hotel room in Rome and we were going a little hypo so we set self timer and took jumping photos on the bed. I remember we so embarrassed about our self indulgent self timer shots we tried to pretend there was another person in the room. Too bad for us our friend saw that the background stayed perfectly still as we moved around the photo. Ha! Busted!

To those who follow me on instagram sorry to be repetitive but not all of us have it (if you are reading this and you have an iphone but no instagram, shame on you!) These are my Ksubi leather pants I got on sale in Melbourne. It was a STINKING hot day when I bought them and I was hesitant but now that I am back in London I couldn't be happier with my buy. Wore it today for the first time and I LOVE them. Perfect fit. Loose around the waist, really tight around the lower leg and a biiiggg long zip so you can wear them under or over your boots. For those living in Australia I suggest going into Ksubi to see if they still have them, you won't look back!

I love any excuse to dress up, so quite naturally Halloween is one of my favourite days..or in this case, we dragged it out over numerous days. The first party I went as Bat girl. Because it was a bit cold I just threw on the American Apparel mesh dress underneath. As the night wore on more and more blood got added to my face. The second party I'm not actually sure what I am. It's slightly bondage I guess. The skivvy is AA and the skirt is balenciaga. Props to Chrissy for doing the most amazing makeup for me. For my hair I plaited wire through it...let me tell you, it is an absolute bitch to get out and I URGE you not to try that at home. Lastly, the dinosaur onesie didn't get worn anywhere except to go to the airport to pick a friend up. I love it and wish I could wear it every day.

To be honest I didn't plan to dress up for halloween but at the last minute I thought it would be rude not to. I bought plastic spiders from the costume shop (in the last hour it was open) and sewed them all down the shoulder and arm of this op shop sweater dress!! Actually turned out better than expected, I would probably wear this on a regular night. They are glow in the dark too (extra points). With some white, black and red paint I think I will be set. Hope you all have fun tonight ! ! x

1. I'm practically living in this striped jumper from Mink Pink. It's the perfect cut & just the right amount of warmth for Melbourne's 'I'm not sure if it's winter or summer' days. As for the red leather pants, I've had these in my wardrobe for many, many moons & decided to bust them out the other day. Red leather is nothing new, but is still damn fun to wear. They were raver flares in their past life, but a few stitches from Celine later and hey presto. Shoes + bag= Zara.

New fur coat I got from a vintage stall in Brick Lane. I adore the hood. Now I am not dreading the January/February cold!

I went to Angel on Saturday to Camden Passage and visited all the beautiful vintage stores. They are so different to the ones on Brick Lane. To be honest, the only thing I like about Brick Lane is the pork buns I get from my favorite dumpling stall. I really am not a fan of the chain vintage stores. I bought a silk kimono from Angel that is quite thick and has a bit of wadding on the top half, this is just a photo of the lower back.

FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS

I have found it so difficult to find leather pants that are comfortable, fit well and don't cost over 500 pounds. At Zara in Knighttsbridge I found these PERFECT leather pants. Elastic at the top with a zip on the side as well, zips around the ankles and really soft leather. I like that they aren't skin tight as well. THANK YOU Zara for making these a sweet price of 160 pounds. My gold bangles were found at the Broadway Markets yesterday. I was looking at similar ones by McQueen but these are just as beautiful and 1/13 of the price!

I found an amazing leather man today and I have gotten him to customise me a leather jacket. I liked the shape of one of the jackets he had and then I chose where I wanted zips and quilting etc.... Getting it custom made and picking it up next weekend. Stay ttuuuuned.

LONDON! I am so cold my bones are shivering and this is just the BEGINNING! Thank god for my 4 week trip back to Melbourne in December or I don't know what I would do. I went to Broadway Markets today and it was great. I will definitely go back every Saturday for all that fooooood. After all, what else do you do in winter? You can't really see in the photos but I am wearing a knitted American Apparel skirt which I bought recently and I get so much wear out of it! I suggest you all go get yourself one! I really love the convenience of Zara, Cos and H&M all around me. These new pants are perfect. Right amount of bagginess without being sloppy, good fabric detaling which is very subtle and a really comfortable elastic waistband but still has the zip and clasp so it doesn't look like a pair of tracksuit pants.

Went to Parklife on the weekend. Always fun. Saw this red sweater whilst shopping on Friday. It's the most PERFECT colour, & an even better mohair material...it had one down fall though-- a v neck. Nothing that turning it back to front didn't solve though. Hey presto, a backless sweater. I have more photos but they're all polaroids..will post when I can figure out how to work my scanner. Technology isn't my friend today.

I really love that I can jump on a train and in 2 hours be right in the middle of Paris. I spent the weekend there seeing my girlfriends. I finally got my hands on the Balenciaga Apron loafers and am TOTALLY obsessed with my mini Balenciaga lime green pouch. I love how small and convenient it is. Very practical of me.
